Jack is the only one doing a fall sport. He is running cross country. He is having a good time, hanging out with friends and keeping active.
Friday they had a in house meet. It was a loop in around the football fields and you could watch the whole time. The runners from 6th grade on up were there to support and cheer them on.

Coach Freeman is doing a great job keeping the kids motivated, having fun and keeping kids interested. Before the meet he was talking stolen apple pie. During the week, they collected apples and made pies on Friday to sell. Some of my best memories in high school were the two years I ran cc. Jackalope hunting, mile intervals at the airport on the runway, ice berging..good times.
Sunday rollerskied with Jake. Haven't roller skied in maybe 3-4 years and never this early in the year. Couldn't of done 15km unless I was with someone. Hoping to get those wheels moving couple times a week during the fall until the white falls for real.
