Frazee Fischer Farm Extreme CC

Jack's recent cc meet was at the Fischer Farm just outside Frazee. They have been hosting a meet here the last few years. Last year I did the role of a golf cart you see at cc meets at golf courses, leading the kids through the course on my mountain bike. I was asked to do it again and it worked on the schedule so I was in.

Having run cc in hs and watching Jack at a few different courses, there is nothing like it around. The kids all seem to enjoy it with the hay bale obstacles, a trip through a barn and the popular water crossing.

The farm still does it's own milling.
Varsity boys warming up.

DGF boys coming through the woods. There were some open fields but my pictures were blurry as these guys were running to fast! There was a snapping turtle on the course making things a little interesting.
Jack's team all placed and won the jr high boys division. Solid group of kids! Article in DL paper.
Nice sunset over a bean field on the way home.
