Jon taking the lead into the corner during the first moto. A perfect night at the track. It was the first time racing with clipless and it made a big difference. He can't click in on the ramp for the start but he did a great job dropping the shoe in without troubles. Soon enough he will get it figured out. I didn't race. There was only one other old guy cruiser and he toasted his bb. Still lots of racing left this summer. All in all there were 9 motos with about 42 kids total. Not too bad for the first night and the town of Detroit Lakes. About half the kids go home with a trophy. Jon's hockey buddy was hanging out with us for the day and he came to watch. If your gonna have hockey hair, go big. Matthew is a nice kid.
Jonell hit a deer the other night. She brought the car in for a estimate and the guy goes "another one" without even asking. Between the two of us, this is number 6. Not good.

Monday I picked up the snowmobile after it was in the shop for storeage service. We added a couple inches of travel in the rear suspension so the rear attachments should pull better. I got hit by one of the thunderstorms on the way home and I look back and the trailer is swaying from side to side from the wind and rain. Yikes! Jens was pretty concerned. I don't quite know how he figured it out but he said this week we should be grooming sometime. Posted by Picasa
