When I said to Jonell it has been a busy week, she said wait until next week. Beautiful summer weather so all the outside project stuff that was on hold during the rain is getting taken care of now. Guess it has been more of the running around stuff. Especially my dad who has been chasing parts that can't seem to make it to DL then Callaway. Nothing like driving to Grand Rapids and back to pick up a pump for the lift station. At least gas is 40 cents a gallon cheaper here than western WI. Have learned not to use freight for shipping. Actually saved us $2500 this spring when a order was dropped because the semi wasn't full, they don't like to go rural and we went to plan b. All worked out and felt good on the savings.

Someone has this plow for sale in Richwood. This would of been some serious fun during the end of April when we had that 2 foot dump. Rez plates to boot. Asking 7k. Little steep I think. If it was a good runner, could haul rocks and go to pit for class five instead of having it delivered. Would make a good entrance ornament too.

Jon started guitar lessons with Hutch this week. Jon started band last week. Jon had swimming this week. Jon starts hockey camp this weekend. Thank God we aren't doing soccer or baseball for any of the kids. Lessons are just once a week so not bad really.
After guitar, Jon and I went rollerblading at Dunton Locks. Back in the day when there used to be more than 2 mountain bikers in the DL area, there used to be races there in the summer.
Jonell and I haven't been on the tandem as much as we would like but hopefully we can work them in. Ride this week was awesome. We are doing the Cheq. 40 this year. Probably no Ore to Shore.
I made a pretty simple flower garden at the end of the Candy Store cabin. It sure isn't going to win any Becker County beautification awards but Jonell put a bike in there and its all good now.
Pulled a deer tick off this morning that had been camped out for hopefully less than 24 hours. Talked to the camp nurse and she said wait. I could get a dose of doxycyclene just in case that little guy had Lyme in his aresenal. I don't have a problem having those guys camp out and sucking a little blood, just don't leave any nasty stuff behind. Jake had Lyme disease a few years ago and kicked it nicely. Some people really get hammered by it and takes up to 2 years to clear Only 7% of deer ticks have Lymes. I am going to think positive and that alone will decrease my chances by 15%. Can get a blood test next week.
Hopefully the Dirt Spanker on Sunday. First Dirtspanker was in 92. Still have the t-shirt. Jake wasn't even born yet. I talked to Cam Kirkpatrick at WORS cup. Nice guy. Does good race recaps. It would like to see if I could close the gap down some more but he will be racing in Nebraska I think. Interesting, racing with a guy from Iowa the past two weekends. Off the top of my head, Ben Moore Jan Rybar and Heath Weisbrod the only other ones. BTW, congrats to Heath on the Semi-pro upgrade and Eddie Karow for slugging it out in Expert last weekend.
