Suicide Hill singletrack covered in leaves.

Friday morning about as good as it gets for a run at sunrise through the woods.
Another big wedding on the weekend and all was going well until the power did the back and forth surge thing, like four times, at supper of course, while frying up a bunch of walleye. Made some adjustments while it was dark but five minutes later, back on and good to go. Crank up reservation program and it crashed. Did the usual repair but no luck. The heart of the business, as far as the "technical" side of things was down at the worst time possible. That meant a call to the "doctor" (kicking it nicely in West Yellow, 2006)
Before we did a restore on a backup that was a week old, Bruce worked until 4am pulling the weeks work after a ftp transfer to at least hop along through the weekend on paper. At 10pm Sat. night, we restored from backup and got up and running again, repairing the damage along the way. A weeks worth lost but with a paper trail, we should be at full recovery this week. The power surge also toasted a pump for a lift station, but thankfully was able to have a tanker truck come out and pump the tank a couple times on Saturday.

I told Bruce I was going to buy a lottery ticket and if I won, I would by a new PB and the rest I would give to him. Thanks a ton Bruce.Jonell and Grandma Judy taking a short break on Saturday. About as good as it gets for a fall wedding. Haven't counted it up, but think we are close to #50. You definitely learn the ropes on how to make it the best experience for those working and those attending. As usual bunch of side stories and laughs. Super friendly people definitely having a good time.

Jack gets a bible at church on Sunday. Its been three years since our new pastor rolled into the countryside. He is doing a great job. Haven't been making many Sundays but every sermon I have listened to has been very good. Has made good light on everything including all political and $700 b talk as of late. He isn't telling us who not to vote for because the three churches he covers are small enough... he knows where everyone stands, for the most part.
Sunday singletrack work cut short with rain coming down big time and after getting completely drenched, came back and took a wood fired sauna with Jack and Jake and a very refreshing swim in the lake.

Saturday afternoon snuck out for a short ride on the new singletrack. Almost think it rides better going backwards, despite one steep pitch that is not rideable. As more leaves come down, the sight lines improve and the bigger picture how everything will come together becomes clearer.
