Sunday wrapped up a great weekend in NW WI.

Jens enjoying the smooth surfaces everywhere, working on his no brake stoppie.

I don't think I could of set this picture up. Maplelag/Paramount team members all in the photo, racing in the Crit cross and posting solid results. Jake 5th, Trent 9th, Matt Wenzel 11th and Steve W 12th. Very nice representation. Sunday was probably the hardest day of the year to not be part of the action, racing wise. The crit/short track racing is my favorite and I really liked the format this year. I was real tempted to give it a go but figured best to not push it. Appt on Mon has me two more weeks on antibiotics and go from there.
Jack Hinkens "nailed" the last barrier practicing before the qualifier but in racing action didn't have a chance to throw it down until the last lap he had the opening after passing Ezra and stuck it. Little hockey mentality coming through the way I saw it. Very nice.
Cloud Andersons and fellow Cloudonians represented the best cheering section at the awards ceremony so we did our best to cheer Kyia on during her dig.
Fans. Grandma Judy is lucky that poodle didn't dig in that caramel corn with Rodney not sitting post.
Grandpa Rodney putting down the Fat Squirel and GU chunks and getting the vision to discover the wolfhorse. Condo full blown upnorthsugarcoatedcabinpotpourifeel
On the shores of GG for a pit stop. I think Brian Matter could of made it to south Duluth faster than us but the swim in the Brule river which was icy cold (flowing in to Lake Superior) sure felt good and hard to pass Duluth without getting a Sitka Sushi sandwich.
Jens in form. We missed having Jack (who was at a birthday party) and Jon (football game on Saturday) but a great trip and good memories. Thanks to Grandma Mary for having Jon and Jack and holding down the fort.
