Pretty quiet weekend. Think the first time this summer I was home the entire weekend. Did some trail work with Jens on the singletrack, worked on some projects at the lodge and did a little riding and dipping in the lake.

Jens was a great help really swinging the pulaski. No complaining and dug some good dirt. We have worked on all the drops on the Fargo section of singletrack and after not using it in the races the last two years, should be good to go for this year. Rides very nice now. Rain tonight and some tune up here and there should have it set for Labor day weekend.

Jake went out to Colorado with Matt and Steve Wenzel for some riding in the mountains so we did not make the trip to the Border battle. Ben Wenzel came over on Saturday and was getting in to the lake jump nicely. Getting bigger with each jump. He'll be ready on Labor day weekend.

Jon is pushing the envelope and getting more and more speed. Time to tone things down. We beefed up the jump and made a better approach from land to dock. When grandma and and mom watching, its laughs and smiles and all good. I still pray before each take off. We do pull the plug when the dock gets slippery as it gets a bit drifty. When Jake comes back I think I am will be ready to hit it. Looks like too much fun.
