A great first day in West Yellowstone. We woke up to 2-3" of wet, damp snow and reports of grooming on the Rendezvous trails. As we were ready to head out to ski, a intense squall moved through, creating full on blizzard conditions and dropping another 3". One hour later, everything settled down and we went out for some classic skiing, making our own "tracks. Jake and I skied together for a hour or so and I tooled around the biathlon loop and Jake skied another 1.5hrs.
Afternoon went back out and we both did the Dead Dog loop, skiing another 1.5hrs. Sun came out, no wind and beautiful conditions in the woods.

Happy people at Freeheel and Wheel with the fresh snow. A must stop for bikers and skiers.

Afternoon photos.

Heading out to Dead Dog.

Climbing hill "191".
Out on Dead Dog loop.

Beautiful spot along the trail.
Skate lifie skiing on our skied in tracks. All good. Looking forward to tomorrow with fresh grooming and snow taking a break.
